I made this blog on the advice of an instructor with a mullet. She seemed like an intelligent and fine instructor, so I apologize for turning her into merely “an instructor with a mullet”. It was just the first thing I noticed and it stuck in my mind. I am a journalist major at UF learning how to be a journalist. Yes, in editing class today, I learned about tautologies.
Bounce, dive, hurdle — an excessive amount of verbs that can all explain my eventual departure into the responsible, keg-party-less world that is somewhere outside the confines of this university.
After graduating, I want to mosey around for a few more years, join the Peace Corps or go to grad school. Chalk it all up to experience.
I enjoy writing, playing music and writing about music.
I am in a band called the Iconicons. It consists of myself and two roommates. I mumble, yell and play guitar.
Music is escapism. I broaden my horizons all the time.
I will not always post the most current music news or album, other sites can probably do it better.
I think I can do some things better then them though. We will see.
I will try to keep it simple. We will also see how that works out.
I will try to get clips, music videos, live footage and entire tracks on here soon. It is on the list of things to come. I think the blog is small enough to slip under the radar of copyrights.
